For detail informations about this position opportunity please read the description below. Seeking a Clinic Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Managed Care in Simi Valley, CA. In this full-time position, the NP will work in conjunction with Physicians to provide care and care management to this group of patients. The Nurse Practitioner will primarily interact with members and providers at the Urgent Care Center. Qualifications:
Requires a valid, unrestricted state NP certification and RN license.
Master’s Degree in Nursing Required.
Furnishing and DEA licensure in good standing with the state.
Minimum 1-3 years of NP experience with confidence to practice independently.
Prior infusion/IV experience is preferred.
Previous experience in an Urgent Care setting and/or with a managed care organization is a plus.
Candidate should have excellent people skills, with superior written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work both as a team member and independently.
Intermediate computer literacy, including electronic medical record documentation, is required.
Must be able to have some flexibility with schedule- 40 hours a week, but varied days and times, occasional weekends and evening shifts.
