Description: Azusa Pacific University is currently interviewing Program Manager, ELM Azusa-Monrovia - School of Nursing right now, this vacancy will be placed in California. The Program Manager will oversee the operations of the ELM graduate nursing program in collaboration with the Chair and Direct! ors of the ELM Programs.

Required Education

Master’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

Required Experience

Four-six years of general office experience, university setting preferred.

Primary Duties/Essential Functions

Provide administrative support for the Chair of the ELM Program.

Provides support for faculty and students in the ELM program to include:

Preparing course syllabi

Providing program related information to students through class presentations, by e-mail, and by phone

Processing APU and Board of Registered Nursing forms

Contributes skills to the ELM leadership team to include:
Editing abstracts and conference Power Points

Preparing and taking minutes

Compiling program/student data for grants

Searches for and notifies students of job, scholarship, and conference opportunities.

Creates and updates documents ! and website pages as needs arise, especially FAQ sheets, Skill! s Lab Checklists, and program handbooks.

Maintains health clearance charts of all ELM students and fills out all required hospital/clinical forms each semester.

Coordinates and supervises events for the ELM Program, including all details for the event planning.

Prepares applicant files for regular Admissions Committee meetings, schedules interviews between students and advisors, and writes/sends all admission letters and orientation documents to accepted students.

Coordinates textbook and IDEA requisitions, semester course schedules, and desk copy orders.

Assists Continuing Education director with all nursing continuing education programs, to include:

RN Refresher course: create brochure, maintain student records, process faculty payments, clear students for clinicals, and create certificates.

All other continuing education: provide instructors with certificates and other documents needed for the s! pecific course

Performs other duties as required by the supervisor.

Regular, punctual attendance as required by the supervisor based on department needs.

Contributes information for the SON annual surveys as they pertain to the ELM Program, including the Board of Registered Nursing (BRN), National Institute of Health (NSF), and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Surveys.

Recruit students for the ELM Program. Follow through from initial point of contact, through the application process to admission.

Collect and maintain data for the ELM Programâ€"including student, graduate, and alumni surveys, and admissions data.

Inform current and prospective graduate students regarding prerequisites, course scheduling, sequencing and course content; provide clarification of academic policies.

Performs other duties related to job description as assigned by supervisor.

Reading, writing notes, and computer monitor.

Environment

Pleasant office, comfortable temperature.

Technologies

Proficient in Google Apps., Microsoft Office, Word, Publisher, and Excel.

Able to navigate and download hospital/clinical websites and forms.
