The Medical Social Worker provides counseling and supportive services to the patient, their family and caregivers. This position assesses the social and emotional factors related to the patient's illness and evaluates the psychosocial response to treatment level of adjustment. This position interprets to the family, patient, physician, and staff, the social and emotional factors related to illness, financial and community resources.

REQUIRED:
- Masters Degree in Social Work
- 3+ years of work experience in healthcare setting
- Experience in Palliative Care and/or Hospice, and social service programs or related specialty
- 3+ years experience in Oncology or related specialty.
- Palliative Care experience
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking
