Required Skills Qualifications
Internal candidates only (current Sharp HealthCare employees)
High School Diploma or equivalent
One year Acute Care Nursing Assistant experience
Ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic TEAM environment, self-motivated and positive personality
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
CNA preferred
Two years' Acute Care Nursing Assistant experience
ICU experience
Computer skills
Summary
The Health Care Partner will work with the critically ill and assist nurses in caring for this population. Duties include but are not limited to ordering and stocking linens and supplies, assisting the nurse or other aide in the care of critically ill patient to include turning, bathing, oral care, feeding, transferring, transporting, ambulating, linen change, foley care, skin care, range of motion and other duties as delegated by the RN or c! harge nurse. Also includes admission and transfer process and ! use of bed board.
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit is a 24 bed unit. Be a part of the new "state of the art" Sharp Grossmont Hospital SICU opened October 2009. Our patient population consists of critically ill medical and surgical patients. Our unit has a cohesive team environment in which the staff support and mentor others and are dedicated to providing excellent care to our patients.
