Assist with patient/family care needs from admission to discharge. Transcribe and process physician orders. Assist in maintaining adequate stocks and su! pplies items. Assist with cleaning functions to maintain unit. Keep medical record updated, including legal requirements. Documents according to policy and procedure, standards and guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent with a current CPR required. Ability to read, speak, and write English in order to perform the duties of the position. Previous Mental Health or CNA/nursing assistant/care giver experience preferred. Ability to work effectively under multiple demands and adjust priorities as circumstances require to meet staffing needs; maintain a high degree of accuracy and precision on consistent basis in the performance of procedures.
This position is represented by Service Employees International Union, UHW, and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
