More details about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. Kelly Clinical Research is seeking candidates for a Clinical Safety Specialist position. This is a 6-12 month contract assignment, with the potential to convert to permanent for the right c! andidate, and is based in Irvine, CA. The Clinical Safety Specialist is responsible for participating in the development, implementation and/or maintenance of relevant quality initiatives and activities supporting Global Patient Safety (GPS). The CSS demonstrates a working understanding of quality and regulatory compliance as well as the application of these concepts to device vigilance.
Clinical Safety Specialist Job Duties Include:
Independently facilitates, and provides quality insight into GPS deviation investigations
Collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders in the remediation of identified risks
Independently participates in safety-related projects/teams
Independently generates and presents quality metrics to GPS management
Participates in the development, implementation, and/or oversight of quality activities. These activities include, but are not limited to: Training, Deviation Investigation Management, Ad-hoc/Aggr! egate Report QC, ICSR Quality Review, Documentation Management! , and Audit/Inspection Readiness
Provides support, as requested, in the preparation, facilitation, and close-out of audits and inspections
Provides support to GPS Operations, as requested
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
2+ year’s hands-on safety experience
Nursing or health-related background and medical device experience highly preferred.
