Responsibilities and Qualifications for this position include (but are not limited to): Caring for patients with hematologic and oncologic malignancies in collaboration with on-site Oncologists. Assisting in the! evaluation and treatment of patientsConducting patient interv! iews, and collecting and interpreting diagnostic data.Performing physical examinations and specialized procedures under the direction of a physicianOrdering laboratory and radiology studies, chemotherapy, and prescription medicationsDocumenting the delivery of care in the individual's medical recordsEducating patients in areas of procedures, pharmacology, self-management of side effects and available community resourcesCounseling patients and familiesPerforming related responsibilities as required.Candidates should be flexible and friendly with clients and staff. The ability to work independently, proactively and adapt appropriately to changing priorities is a must.
