Job Description for PICU nurse: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit nurses care for children, ranging from infant to eighteen years old, w! ho require critical care nursing. PICU nurses practice in the ! pediatric intensive care unit, where patients require complex assessment, high intensity therapies and interventions, and continuous nursing vigilance. PICU RNs rely upon a specialized body of knowledge, skills, and experience to provide care to patients and families and create environments that are healing, humane, and caring.

Requirements for PICU Nurse Jobs:
Active in-state nursing license
Min 1 year of experience in a pediatric intensive care unit
BLS and PALS certification; ACLS preferred
