Providence is calling a Part Time, Night Shift Telemetry Registered Nurse to the Clinical Decision Observation Unit at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA.
In this position you will:
Implement and maintain established department, unit, administrative, and clinical policies/procedures for patient care, safety, and infection control.
Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment with attention to each patient's physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs.
Collaborate and communicate with other per! sonnel to maintain good employee relations, meet interdepartme! ntal objectives, and optimize patient care.
Provide direction to team members to coordinate care of assigned patients and problem-solve patient care issues during the shift.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
1 year of acute Telemetry experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Critical Care or Emeregency dept experience
Completion of Critical Care course
Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN)
