Varied locations, rotating sites
1.0 FTE, 80 hours bi-weekly, 10 hour rotating shifts, rotating weekends, rotating holidays
This is primarily an evening shift starting at 12pm noon - 10:30pm shift (As a dedicated rotating position, this is subject to change.)
Clinical Nurse (RN), Imaging / Radiology
Under the general supervision of the Radiology Patient Care Manager or designee and the resource nurse, the Radiology (CT, MRI, Mammography) Clinical Nurse works closely with the assigned radiologist and technologists to provide hands-on care to patients of all ages, before, during and after radiology procedures and imaging. Within that role, the Clinical Nurse performs all steps of the nursing process including assessing patients, interpreting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, coordinating care with other providers, and teaching the patient and family how to manage their aftercare to prevent complications. The Clinical Nurse partners with the patient's family wherever possible, considering all aspects of care, to deliver family centered care. The Clinical Nurse monitors the quality of nursing care provided.
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for performing a variety of duties, including frequent IV starts, administering medications including moderate sedation, and assisting with procedures/imaging that require independent judgment and initiative. The job may involve radiation exposure. As a result, wearing lead protective gear and a radiation dosimeter is required in some procedural areas.

Qualificiations:
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as required licenses and/or certifications.
1. Current California RN license
2. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
3. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
4. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers
5. Minimum of intermediate ICU / Stepdown / Progressive care experience is required
6. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with critical care experience
7. Able to communicate effectively in English
