Chaise Management Group, LLC is seeking individuals to review and score competitive grant applications for Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program Grant (21st CCLC) for the District of Columbia’s Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE).
The purpose of the 21st CCLC Grant is to establish or expand community learning centers that provide students with out-of-school time (OST) programs providing academic enrichment opportunities and activities designed to complement the students’ regular academic program.
Individuals interested in being a “Team Lead Reviewer” will review applications; and will also manage the group of peer reviewers to answer any questions, to ensure reviews are completed on time, and reviews have completed comments.
These individuals must meet the qualifications for a grant peer reviewer which is a minimum of two years of experience in providing effective academic, enrichment, youth development, and /or other OST programs; and at least one year in one of the following areas:
- Knowledge of the impact that after-school learning
- Experience in Social and Emotional Learning
- Experience working with a variety of community members to forge meaningful partnerships
- Previous experience/expertise as a grant reviewer (not required)
Team leads must also have at least one year of experience effectively reviewing 21st CCLC or federally funded programs and experience in administrating an educational program.
Interested individuals must be available from July 26 to Aug 30, 2023. During this time, reviewers will receive training and review grant applications. Each grant application will take approximately 5 hours to review and reviewers who complete the review process successfully will be compensated $150.00 per application. Team leads will be paid an additional one-time payment of $150.00.
