More details about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. California Baptist University (CBU) is a rapidly growing comprehensive university of 6,000 students. Degrees are offered in architecture, aviation science, business, education, engineering, health sciences, liberal arts and sciences, and nursing.
Major fundraising campaigns are ongoing in several areas. CBU is seeking a proven professional to lead acquisition of funds for new facilities and programs. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of eight years of progressively responsible experience in a similar philanthropic environment with the ability to manage the success of a complex, multi-year strategy to expand and sustain a collaborative university-wide development effort. The successful candidate will have significant management, motivational and consensus building skills coupled with a demonstrated ability in the cultivation, solicitation and closing of major gifts and must possess the necessary skills to manage budgets and reports.
Institutional Advancement at CBU includes major gifts, alumni/parent relations, grant administration, planned giving and the annual fund. The salary is competitive.
