Ballard Rehab is seeking a Nurse Educator/Employee Health Nurse to join our team. The Nurse Educator/Employee Health Nurse supports the Educational Department and the Clinical Education Coordinator. Assists with quality educational opportunities and programs for the facility, as needed. This position requires knowledge of adult learning skills and program development; of theory and standards of clinical practice; of administration, goals, and objectives; of facility organization; of accrediting agency standards; of principles and methods of supervision and teaching. This position requires skills necessary to: develop educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff. The qualified candidate will communicate effectively; both verbally and in writing while developing effective working relationships with staff; prepare lesson plans, proposals and reports, maintain certification and teach CPR.

Qualifications:
Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or education or equivalent work experience. A minimum of four years work experience, including three years of clinical experience and one year of experience in nursing staff development. California RN licensure, current CPR certificate.
