California’s desirable Orange County, Coastal Communities Hospital has been serving the city of Santa Ana and its surrounding communities since 1975. Coastal Communities Hospital is an acute-care facility with 178 beds. The Quality Review nurse requires understanding of basic microbiology methods. Must have the ability to identify best approaches to problem/questions solving, and seek outside advice when appropriate. He/she must have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Requires strong organizational and time management skills. Must be able to identify ad evaluate situations, which place patients or staff at immediate infection risk, and formulate and implement timely interventions to ameliorate risk. He/she requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, ability to work well with senior management, directors, medical staff and employees in general. Requirements: California LVN license or in graduation process, excellent computer skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience in acute hospital setting preferred.
