The National Account Specialist will promote health science content and electronic educational products to nursing, health science, medical professionals and corporate executives in private sector! education companies.

In this position, you will:
Identify customer needs through solution-based selling techniques and demonstrate the full value of the Elsevier suite of products.

Establish revenue increases and reach sales goals by creating mutually beneficial relationships and partnering with customers.

Present to effectively demonstrate the capabilities of Elsevier’s solutions to a wide variety of customers.

Work with the Education Solutions Consultants, eProduct Sales Specialists and the Regional Manager as part of the sales team in developing effective selling and positioning strategies.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be self-drive! n, have excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and technical skills. The candidate must have a strong ability to prioritize and multi-task with project management skills and possess the ability to develop, influence, and maintain lasting relationships with key decision makers and negotiate in a B2B environment.

Evidence of top achievement in educational and/or professional endeavors is essential. Health science/publishing experience is helpful, but not required. Understanding of financial principles related to profitability a must.

Candidates should have a genuine interest in the growing field of health science education and the integration of technology into the educational arena.

A Bachelor's Level Degree, a minimum of 4 years of sales/marketing experience, and a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required. The position is home-based and overnight travel is approximately 50%.
