VHNC, part of the Vibra Healthcare system, is hospital specializing in Long Term Acute Care ( LTAC) 56 beds, Skilled Nursing Facility ( SNF) 32 beds, and Outpatient Rehabilitation ( OR). Vibra Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our LTAC team. Under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine tasks in patient care and bedside nursing. This position does provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Performs and records vital signs as directed by physician orders. Reports to team leader immediately any abnormal vital signs. Transports patients to and fro! m various therapy treatments when necessary; assists transport! ers in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs. Measures and records fluid and food intake and output and reports immediately abnormal results to team leader. Provides assistance with activities of daily living including showering, feeding, dressing and assisting with bowel and bladder needs as per care plan.
Qualifications:
Current California C.N.A. certificate or the ability to obtain.
Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain.
Minimum of six months acute or long term care experience is preferred.
