The Parkinson's Institute and Clinical Center is an internationally recognized non-profit research and patient care organization. Our mission is to find the cause and cure for Parkinson's d! isease. The Physical Therapist supports the physicians in providing medical treatment for patients afflicted with movement disorders. The Physical Therapist assists patients to maximize their fullest potential while lessening the burden of care on the families.
Position Responsibilities Include: -Provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments and functional limitations resulting from a movement disorder - Interact and practice in collaboration with the physicians, nurses, and other clinic staff involved with patient care - Design and teach gait and balance classes. - Promote health, wellness, and fitness. This may take the form of in-person presentations, lectures, written materials, or electronic communication. This position may be full-time 40 hours per workweek or part-time 32 hours per workweek.
With the work hours Monday â€" Friday, between 8:30 AM â€" 5:30 PM.
