Description: Whittier Hospital Medical Center is at the momment seeking for Supervisor, Nursing right now, this occupation will be placed in California. The Administrative Supervisor provides administrative and clinical oversight and leadership throughout the hospital on the weekends, after hours and represen! ts administration in their absence. The Administrative Supervisor will work closely with clinical managers to ensure compliance with various federal and state regulations, i.e. title 22, Joint Commission, etc. The Administrative Supervisor will also have oversight over Core Measures, Patient Satisfaction, ED flow during his/her shift. Proficient with email, Word and Excel.
Required Experience
Five years clinical experience, two years admin. Supervisor experience preferred. Demonstrated clinical competence in relevant area of nursing practice. Demonstrated leadership ability and potential managerial competency. Evidence of this includes, but is not limited to, effective communication skills and abilities to deal well with people, ability to problem solve, confront/resolve issues, motivate others, ability to plan, and organize and direct the activities of others.
Required Education
BSN preferred.
Current California RN License, BLS ! & ACLS required.
