Kelly Clinical Research has an IMMEDIATE need for two remote-based Clinical Research Specialists. The Clinical Research Specialists (CRS) will be est! ablishing stroke sites in the Midwest and along the East Coast. The CRS will p rovide training to support clinical studies activities for investigational sites and internal staff, support initiation and implementation of clinical investigations, assist in development of study related materials. This position requires a high percentage of travel (90-100%) as the CRS will have to remain onsite until the first couple of patients are enrolled. These are 6-12 month contract positions and candidates can be based anywhere in the U.S.

Essential Functions:
Serves as primary source for educating investigational sites on proper study conduct
Coordinate and conduct site initiation visits
Develop and execute in depth training program for study sites and internal staff
Coordinate and conduct In-service/train Investigational site personnel
Provide staff in-service and training on study conduct and procedures
Interface with project managers and CRAs ! to resolve study related issues
Assist in initiation and i! mplementation of clinical investigation
Follow up with queries, deficiencies and perform patient profiling.
Interface with statisticians, physicians, and study support personnel.
Assist in development of study related materials.
When possible provide case support
Provide study team update on completed training and site progress
Conducts all business with customers in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical, and adheres to current company policies and FDA requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements (Any combination equivalent to, but not limited to, the following):

Bachelor’s degree in nursing, biological/health sciences, or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years documented experience in a clinical setting, hospital outpatient, operating room, and/or wound care center.
Previous experien! ce as a Field Support or Clinical Specialist within the medical device / biologics industry
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
Knowledge of endovascular procedures strongly preferred
Strong time management skills with an ability to maintain several priorities and meet established deadlines.
Ability to build and maintain excellent business relationships with multiple constituencies, including both internal and external customers.
Proven success at performing responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility, objectivity, discretion, appropriate demeanor, and professionalism for different levels and types of interactions.
Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, planning and interpersonal skills in order to manage multiple objectives in a large geography.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedur! e manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond t! o questions from groups of managers, physicians, vendors, and the general public
Ability to travel frequently, approximately 90%
