H Schedule: Part time â€" Benefits Eligible Shift: Varying Req Number: 41708 JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Educator â€" RN works directly with the leadership team and staff to ensure that unit educational needs are met. Collaborates with other Educators/CNS's to ensure that mechanisms are in place to maintain quality patient care, utilizing specialty and other regulatory standards. Provides staff support and facilitates orientation, continuing education and compliance with standards of care. Serves as an active member on hospital committees related to clinical education.
Acts as a role model for professional nursing practice. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing 3 years of experience Current California RN license Current CPR certification (Issued by American Heart Association) Current PALS certification (for Critical Care areas) Current NRP certification (for NICU areas) At least one year of previous experience as a preceptor PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: M! aster's Degree in Education or clinical specialty Five years o! f experience Five years of previous clinical experience in Pediatrics EOE/M/F/D/V
