The Sarcoma Center, located in Santa Monica, is a leader in the treatment of hematological & oncological diseases, including the conduct of industry clinical trials for these diseases. We ar! e actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an excellent position combining patient care, with hematology-oncology clinical research.

SUMMARY: Responsible for managing patient care and treatment in collaboration with the physicians.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include, but are not limited to:
(1) Perform health assessments and preventative health measures within prescribed guidelines, and physician inst! ructions.
(2) Orders, interprets and evaluates diagnostic ! tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems & health care needs.
(3) Discusses case with physician.
(4) Formulates and documents care plan.
(5) Prescribes medication or other forms of treatment.
(6) Participates in clinical research functions.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Current California Nurse Practitioner license
Minimum bachelor’s degree.
At least two-years NP experience.
State license with prescriptive authority required.
Current CA Driver License.
Clinical Research exposure or experience is a plus.
Pre-employment background screening & drug testing is required.
