Job Description – Client Relationship Manager

Job Summary:

  • Maintain the company’s existing relationships with a client/ group of clients so that the clients continue to engage with POP Logistics in a sustainable and positive manner

Reporting Structure:

· Reports into National Head of Client Services

Min Qualifications

· Matric (with Maths) with a relevant degree/Diploma

· Minimum 5 years Relevant experience and proven track record in Client Relationship or Key Account management

· High computer competency in Excel; Word; PowerPoint required

· High computer literacy, understanding and proficiency

· Excellent written and verbal skills (English main business language)

· Strong interactive and co-ordination abilities

· Strong numeracy skills with demonstrated attention to detail

· Excellent organization and planning skills

· Must be accurate & detailed

· Ability to multitask in stressful situations

· Must be prepared to work outside of business hours

· Display initiative to quickly identify and resolve variances, failures, and discrepancies

Job Description and Key responsibilities

· Managing the relationship with the client to high standards

· Interface with client and account co-ordinators

· Identifies and anticipate client requirements

· Determine availability and promotion of company services

· Mediates process, resolves issues

· Executes within the service level agreement

· Play major role in providing client consultation

· Knowledge and awareness of clients’ organization and structure

· Staying aware of client news and changes

· Maintenance of client records and updating of changes

· Communicates, monitors billing procedures

· Establishes and promotes goodwill with customer

· Reviews client history and contact customer as follow up activity

· Financial controls and ensuring responsible budget management at all levels

· Analyse and interpret key account performance information and ensure daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of relevant performance metrics

· Receive Client Planning requirements and translate into actionable, understandable distribution plans with realistic close off as required

· Self-measurement on service levels and presentation to line manager

· Act as a point of contact for ensuring excellence and accuracy in service and distribution feedback to client issues

· Communication of special invoicing requests from clients

· Ensuring that all outbound and inbound jobs are processed, actioned, and delivered on time according to orders placed by clients.

· Actioning quote requests from client suppliers for repairs and liaising with client on repairs required.

· Reports and updates to clients on items missing or damaged from events.

· Direct email and telephonic communications with client and client suppliers

· Ensuring that all quotes submitted to clients are closed off with PO from client for invoicing

· Liaising with client and suppliers in the event of a call-out – both during office hours and after hours

· Tracking after hours and weekend installations and collections

· Running an Events Calendar and ensuring accuracy

· Ensuring data accuracy

· Ensuring that stock is cared for and kept safe

· Checking of POP Equipment and ensuring regular maintenance is performed

· Using a triage system for event prioritization and coordinating equipment for the events

· Reporting on damages monthly

· Reporting on redundant items monthly

· Ordering of consumables and tracking the use of consumables

· Contact sessions with Clients quarterly or as required

· Weekly planning session with EM’s, clients as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R25,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
