Position Overview :

We offer a n integrated solution , MedStart Connect, to provide a new channel of communication and delivery for pharmaceutical and OTC products directly to the consumer. This includes an automated , secure sample cabinet placed in physician offices that includes branded and generic pharmaceutical s , as well as select OTC products. Sampled consumers are then contacted via our telephone outreach program to encourage adherence , and are invited to enroll in our home delivery pharmacy service. Our solution is truly unique because not only do we provide proprietary technology integrated into the physician ’s office, but also provide , for the first time ever, generic sample medications. We also provide a coordinated approach starting at the point-of-care to encourage medication adherence, about which we can provide data to providers, health plans, and patients to help them optimize medication! therapy. By automating the traditional sample closet and repl! acing it with the comprehensive MedStart Connect program , we provide a solution that is of significant value to patient consumers , phy sician s , office staff, Integrated Delivery Network s (IDN)/Integrated Health System s (IHS) and health plan s .

Main functions :
This pos ition will be responsible for day-to-day interactions required to support our physician office customers for MedStart Connect . Activities may include , but are not limited to : answering inbound calls from physician offices , making outbound calls, and troubleshooting technology issues . Calls range in difficulty from simple questions or requests to mid-level technical issues. This position is also responsible for nurturing a professional relationship with the office personnel to work collaboratively to promote use of our program by prescribers. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results oriented environment , interacting with customers and intern! al staff at all levels .

Duties:

  • Regular and routine contact with physician office customers (office managers, nurses, medical assistants ) to determine program status and/or communicate new information promoting utilization of the MedStart Connect program
  • Utiliz ing online media, communication devices, web-based tools, Customer Relationship Management software, and remote access tools to manage ongoing customer needs
  • Responding to customer requests and inquiries
  • R esolving basic to intermediate technical issues, or routing calls to the appropriate functional area
  • Monitoring program utilization and targeting areas for improvement
  • Managing all aspects of customer utilization and involvement with the program
  • Optimizing profitability of the MedStart Connect program in each physician office account
  • Support sales/business development in securing new business with unique customer experienc! e requirements
Additional Requirements:
  • ! Ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects at one time
  • Creative problem solving, including finding cost-effective solutions
  • Customer-service mindse t in meeting the needs of customers and internal stakeholders
Employment Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills
  • 3+ years inside sales, customer service and/or account management experience, implementation and selling services and providing customer support, preferably in healthcare , medical products or pharmaceutical environments
  • Demonstrated communication skills required to successfully diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Experience training customers remotely on specific product applications
  • Experience in the operation of automated technology, including proficiency with PC’s
  • Proficiency with communication devices including phone, e-mail, text message, remote management ! tools, and various media
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce.com customer service functionality or related program
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated ability to ramp up to speed in a new position quickly
  • Industry experience preferred (physician office based sales, medical products or capital equipment)
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent a plus
