HC! V Sr. Clinical Coordinators are responsible for the active promotion of Genentech's HCV product portfolio and focus their attention on key specialty customers and thought leaders. HCV Sr. Clinical Coordinators are expected to deliver on-label education in support of product indications. HCV Sr. Clinical Coordinators implement programs and tools pertinent to the successful expansion of Genentech's HCV products in the treatment of HCV and other approved indications. HCV Sr. Clinical Coordinators are responsible for educating HCP’s and staff on the disease, side effect management and treatment of Hepatitis C on-label. The HCV Sr. Clinical Coordinator conducts on-label educational classes for patients beginning treatment.
The HCV Clinical Coordinator job requires an advanced level of technical and consultative selling skills. The job requires an advanced level of technical and consultative selling skills. HCV Sr. Clinical Coordinators are preferably experienced worki! ng in a broad range of customer segments and in accordance wit! h operational polices so as to appropriately influence current and future prescribers of Genentech products. The HCV Sr. Clinical Coordinator function is in a dual capacity through independent efforts and as a team player with the field and headquarters-based staff to ensure sound business strategies and services are being implemented. The HCV Sr. Clinical Coordinator must comply with all sales force promotional guidelines.

Bachelors degree in a clinically-degreed discipline is required (Nursing, Pharmacy); or an advanced clinically-degreed discipline (Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant).
3-5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience is also preferred,! but not necessary or 4-5 years experience in a clinical setting with no prior sales experience.
Prior HCV sales/clinical experience is preferred.
Overnight travel is required, including some weekends.
In addition to passing Genentech's background screening, the employee must submit to and pass additional background screening as required by some institutions and health facility sales accounts (additional screening requests may include but are not limited to background checks, immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, and drug screening)
This position reports directly to a Division Sales Manager.
