The Staffing Manager is responsible for all aspects of client intake and management processes, coordinating the staffing of each client, and performing general office duties along with supervising the positions of On-Call Staffing Coordinator and Caregiver.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Position-Specific Skills, Competencies and Responsibilities:Human Resources Functions:
Administers tests, conducts interviews and hires qualified caregivers, CNA's and CHHA's.
Submits employee applications and criminal background check forms to the Human Resources Department for processing.
Conducts new employee orientation.
Staffing and Client Management:
Matches appropriate staff to client and ensures contract compliance.
Receives and assesses intake and client requests for service.
Assigns qualified staff to! clients appropriately.
Coordinates service and facilitates communication between agency and client, family and referral source.
Provides customer service to caregiver staff, client, family and referral sources.
Handles client complaints and writes incident reports as necessary.
Strictly oversees and implements client contract requirements.
Responds to telephone inquiries regarding agency services.
Monitors client progress and reports unusual symptoms to Director of Private Duty.
Provides input to the Human Resources Director on the revisions of the company employment application, Employee Handbook, Safety Module, etc.
Handles necessary employee discipline fairly and objectively, in consultation with the Human Resources Department.
Provides thorough, objective and timely 90-day and annual staff performance appraisals for all staff directly supervised.
Makes appropriate hiring and/or termination recommendations and notifies the Human R! esources Department of staffing needs.
Supports On-Call Staffing Co! ordinator after business hours as necessary.
Responds to requests for reference for past employees.
Responds to telephone inquiries regarding the services provided by the company.
Exercises discretion and independent judgment in matters concerning office staff's function, caregiver staff and clients' concerns.
Coordinates with Oasis Outsourcing in matters concerning HR, Workers Compensation, Payroll, etc.
Is competent to access facility information systems to retrieve and utilize pertinent information in the performance of job related responsibilities.
Seeks guidance of the Director of Private Duty as needed.
Monitors/Reports Monthly Production:
Makes monthly production report according to payroll for all clients.
Makes monthly admission report of new client referral that includes referral source.
Performs other office functions as time permits and/or as assigned by the Director or designee.
Completes time cards correc! tly, legibly, thoroughly and on time.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Documented coursework in business communications preferred
Medical background a plus.
Supervisory experience preferred
Two years previous office experience
Knowledge of filing and simple bookkeeping
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Must read, write and speak fluent English
