Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has an opening in L&D for a Registered Nurse IV.
The Registered Nurse IV assumes responsibility and accountability of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care for high and low-risk obstetrical patients. The Registered Nurse IV makes clinical judgments and carries out related nursing intervention using the nursing process supervising Nurses and technicians to insure patient safety. Applies clinical knowledge regarding standard pattern of care to consolidate interventions for time and cost savings. Demonstrates knowledge and insures compliance of regulatory requirements in patient assignments making delegation of tasks, documentation. Coordinat! es care for the patient and delivery team. Collaborates with a! ll members of the interdisciplinary team. Demonstrates and insures a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues. Demonstrates skill and knowledge of Charge Nurse role, and leadership competencies required for staff supervision, growth and development. Demonstrates ability to perform administrative functions for scheduling staffing, and performance management.

Qualification Requirements/Preferences:
Education Certifications/Licensure Experience Physical Abilities
Educational Requirements:
Completion of certified Nursing program; BSN preferred. Certified in ACLS, BLS, NRP, Advanced EFM, and in intravenous Therapy.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements:
A valid California Registered Nur! se License. Certified in ACLS, BLS, NRP, Basic/Advanced EFM, intravenous Therapy, NCC-EFM and RNC preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five years of Obstetrical/Neonatal experience required.
