Job Overview
The Staff Research Associate II (SRA II) â€" Non-Exempt position provides support for research faculty involved in the implementation of a research project. The position will maintain all project files, assist in preparing subject data forms, compile all study data, and assist with communications between study staff and the clinic sites. In addition, the incumbent will record study data into a PASW statistical database. The SRA II will work closely with the Research Nurses to coordinate clinic and participant follow-up interview scheduling, and assist in preparing study manuscripts and presentations. The incumbent will also ! perform other related duties.

- Experience in entering subject data into a database
- Ability to organize and maintain confidential forms related to subject participants, and understand what is required to protect their privacy
- Knowledge of PubMed and how to obtain scientific writings on the Internet and in the library
- Strong attention to detail in data entry and all work duties
- Ability to enter data into a PASW or similar statistical database, and manage the associated complex data
- Skillful knowledge of Microsoft Word! , Excel and PowerPoint for preparing presentations and publications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience maintaining confidential information, proper storage and data sharing procedures
