Looking for a confident and experienced all-rounder and potential 2IC. Ideally, we want someone who has a can-do attitude and mentality. Someone long-term who can grow with us and our team.
Potential applicants should have:
- Excellent customer service - the aim is to make every single customer interaction very positive and memorable for that customer, we want to make them feel valued and special (because they are!)
- At least 3 years medium to high volume barista experience - while the position itself is not a static barista position, there will be instances to assist our main barista during busy times, so this experience will be very valuable.
- Keen eye for detail and enforcing standards and consistency. Not letting things slip through our fingers, especially during busy times, is key to growing and maintaining a good business.
- Very positive and outgoing with customers and other staff. Maintaining a welcoming and vibrant happy atmosphere is very important.
- Bakery experience will be very useful, but at least general cafe experience is extremely recommended.
Average working hours will be 36 at full base pay. Rostered days off would be Wednesday and Thursday.
